Skip Matthews Memorial Father's Day Run

The 6th Annual Skip Matthews run on June 21st will commemorate the life of this exceptional friend, parent, husband and personality. All proceeds from Skip's run will benefit the Brain Tumor Research Fund at Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Participants choose from a 4 mile race or a 1 mile walk/fun run (kids welcome!).

After completing their races, runners enjoy a scrumptious barbeque hosted by Salt Hill Pub and are treated to live music on the Lebanon, NH green. Awards are given to top male/female finishers overall; awards to top finishers in each age group and all registrants are entered in the door prize drawings with prizes from local merchants and organizations.

Since its start in 2004, the event has generated over $63,000 in support of the Brain Tumor Research Fund. Hundreds of runners, walkers, volunteers and sponsors come together each year in support of this community event, which celebrates the spirited life of one of the areas most well known personalities, Skip Matthews.
