Norris Cotton Cancer Center

One of the nation's select Comprehensive Cancer Centers designated by the National Cancer Institute, Norris Cotton Cancer Center is at the forefront of cancer research and patient care. Here, more than 300 cancer specialists and research scientists take on complex cancers that require the most innovative options and advanced technologies. More than 250 research projects and 150 clinical trials work to unlock the mysteries of cancer and translate the latest discoveries into today's best treatments and tomorrow's possible cure.

Each year, more than 2,800 new cancer patients, primarily from New Hampshire and Vermont, come to the Cancer Center for diagnosis and treatment, and more than 20,000 receive continuing care. Through its Regional Cancer Program, the Cancer Center works with local hospitals, physicians, nurses, and community leaders to bring its specialized care to patients in the most convenient location possible-close to home.

The Cancer Center is intent on meeting the needs of its patients with the highest quality treatment, research and community education possible. We are intent on making cancer, in the words of the head of the National Institute of Health, chronic, not fatal. And we're succeeding.
